the sun did not shine today
outside it is dark and gray
but unlike a stuck drunk
you get no whine from me
like the watch that i lost
i don't have the time you see
happy just to be on the top side
and a brother ain't never lied
then i got stopped by the po po
but i was clean as a bald head
so they had to let me go
on the corner i found five bucks
orderd two heinies sucked them up
back at the crib i was frying yard bird
brother can burn watch out food channel, word
called my girl to see what she was into
and if she was interested in dinner for two
the candles were lit the wine ready to pour
case closed there's my girl at the door
like a man with no tongue i got nothin' to say
as she walked in for under her coat was red lingrie
the desert had finally arrived.
