so yea for some odd reason I decided to give Fall Out Boy a chance (probably cause its been pretty dry this month for new music)... and I must admit, this album is growing on me... lol @ Jigga randomly being on one track. But for what it is, its alright, I mean I don't think much of them as musicians or songwriters or anything, but its catchy. It reminds me a lot of the Blink 182 era '99/'00 TRL stuff that was popular back in my high school days. well whateva, I recommend the new Fall Out Boy. Sue me.
The bassist (also the one that writes all of the lyrics) is heavy on Jay's dikc. It's common place for him to tell all the fans in the audience to "put their diamonds in the air" at shows. He also likes to refer to Jay-Z as 'boss.'

yea pete wentz. meh, he seems like a total tool. to me the vocalist, patrick stump, is what makes FOB interesting (he has cool muttonchops) because its not like musically they're doing anything that is um.. great/original.

Actually listening to this now.. not as good as I expected but its a different sound for them and its not shabby (which is what I believe they were goin for.. Babyface produced some joints I think?)
if you're interested check out their first real release "Take This To Your Grave"
It's their Illmatic/Reasonable Doubt/etc "classic" debut album/ if you will..
lol i was surprised when I heard Jay on that first track...and on another note I found Jay alludin to My Chemical Romance on "Oh My God" surprising too haha

Fall Out Boy's Evening Out With Your Girlfriend was their first release.

please don't mention illmatic, reasonable doubt, or classic in the same sentence as fall out boy. please, for your own sake.

Just "got" it. LOL @ jay, but it's pretty good. To one of the posters, it would be pretty hard to come up with something "original" with (rock)music. there are too many influences to be completly original. Even if you think you are, there is someone who has heard your sound before. I don't know rock, but I know what I like and this might be one of em. Not sure though.......

basically...this broad I know tried to put me on to them and My Chemical Romance ...
I dont care how good they r...if u are emo'd out you can get the fukk outta my face.
needless to say I never got to score with her.
It's crazy.
This is probably their weakest album both musically and lyrically. But I don't think Patrick's voice has sounded as good or interesting on any of the other records. The cadence and different vocal inflections he does are nice.
It'll probably outsell all their previous releases.

well.. i downloaded the album.. was thinking about buying it you know. i'm REALLY hesitate to put money on a record i ain't downloaded yet. the last three records i got i downloaded from the web first. nawmean...
i got that corked tree sh!t and i was playing that sh!t hard. now i play it every now and then. sh!ts good.
this record..... i just heard it, i got the second track stuck in my head. on the first listen, i don't know what to say.. sh!ts a different kind of sound. i really can't form an opinion on this album man.... i'm give it another listen when i hit the computer later to form a better opinion on it because i really don't know what to say about it. it ain't good, it ain't bad, it ain't alright, i wouldn't say its unlistenable or listenable. this is the first time i really can't say i like, hate, or think a record is okay. maybe i'm just tired. this might be the first time i've listened to a record and don't know wtf to say about it. i could listen to the whole record and prolly be like......................

Yo so post the link ...
I don't like them at all, but I want to hear this new sound.
They are sort of similar to Panic! imo. Fallout Boy signed Panic! at the Disco to their label.
