Not sure about ozzy and alice cooper, but I know Ozzy and Motley crue did this when they were on tour. Did hear anything like eating sh!t, but I know ozzy snorted a line of ants on their way into an ant hill. I heard this on the Motley Crue behind the scenes sh!t they used to play on VH1. Drugs will make you do stupid sh!t.
