i remember when streets disciple dropped and nas stans on here were not only saying that it was a classic but that it was the greatest double album in history
and then a few months later those same people finally admitted that it had way too much filler and that it wasnt that good and boring
same thing will happen with hip hop is dead and it kinda has already started because ive seen a few people say that its not that good and that it has no replay value even though they liked it at first
ps this does not apply to u if u are a ****** white boy stan like rzarector, obvious man, liaro, khrys x, gooddoctorzeus, and jayshiggs because they are in love with nas and will never admit that he puts out garbage albums.. they think nastradamus was a dope album for christ sake lol..

I'll be knockin' those four songs for a long, long time. That's all I expect from an album. It could have been better, but it still has some great tracks.

Unfortunately that’s the only good tracks On HHID and you can add Hustlers to the list as well, but the rest are whack. I can still listen to KC on a daily basis.

Whole album's hot. So was SD. This calling someone a "stan" because they dare to have an opinion contrary to yours or don't cave to internet pressure to bury an artist (ie Nas) is rather tiresome. On the contrary, yall seem to think that if you make just one. more. thread. then everybody's going to magically hate Nas as much as you do.
LOL @ word of mouth is slowing the album down. People see anything they want to see in anything they want to see it in. Man just get over it. Nas don't even know you.

There was definitely some filler on there, such as "You Can't Kill Me" and "Carry On Tradition," that have almost no replay value aside from a couple hot lines by Nas.
Other than that, songs like "Money Over Bullshyt," "Where Are They Now," "Blunt Ashes," and "Play On Playa," have some incredible verses, but suffer from weak production.
Hustlers, and Hold Down the Block still knock, so will see how they hold up against the test of time.

I feel like KC and HHID are very similar. Both have 4-6 redeeming tracks, and the rest is, so-so (though still better than the majority of hip-hop released in the last 2 years).
KC has:
The Prelude
Kingdom Come
Lost Ones
Do You Wanna Ride
& 30 Something
Maybe Beach Chair and Minority Report can be added to the list, but after that, KC is nothing but filler. Weak production and fairly weak lyrics.
So, make a compilation that looks like this:
1. The Prelude
2. Let There Be Light
3. Kingdom Come
4. Black Republicans
5. Lost Ones
6. Still Dreaming
7. Do You Wanna Ride
8. Can't Forget About You
9. 30 Something
10. Hustlers
And you have a classic.
Not bad for two vets to drop 10 hot songs that just about everyone is feeling, regardless of who you do and don't like.

I never called it a classic, it was setup to be a letdown with such the cocky title it had.....maybe 5-6 songs at most I really liked on HHID.
