ive had this on-going hamstring issue for the last couple of months...im pretty sure ive pulled it but id play through the pain..it was never anything excrutiating just a little uncomfortable..... but over this weekend it got extremely more painfu, to the point it hurts to even sit down.... im worried it might be a tear...i dont want to go to a doctor quite yet, so is there any other things to do other than ice it? suggestions would be appreciated

all hamstring injuries are tears. you just gotta ice it after working out and heat it whenever u want. if you've had it this long then it might be something more serious, most hamstring injuries heal within 3-4 weeks.

From what I learned in health, jogging/running backwards is good for helping hamstring injuries, but that also depends on how severe the pain is to you I guess.

all hamstring injuries are tears. you just gotta ice it after working out and heat it whenever u want. if you've had it this long then it might be something more serious, most hamstring injuries heal within 3-4 weeks.

hmmm... aight...i'll try that... pain isnt as severe as it was a couple days ago.. ive been icing it everyday and it starts to loosen up a little... but yea, that joggin backwards seems like it would help to strengthen....
