C/S! 2pac is great and is in my top 5 of all time but his rhymes were mad simple, where he shines is with his voice and delivery and energy/passion/emotion, but as a pure lyricist Jay shiits on Pac and that is the most important aspect of hip hop to me, but I can understand people with different preferences liking Pac more. Pac and Ice Cube were alike in the way that they had simple rhymes but their forte was touching on imporant social and political subject matter and having a strong delivery and a lot of emotion in their music.
