I just bought War and Peace and will be reading it along with a lady friend of mine and discussing it with her weekly. 1,472 pages. So, how much of a glutton for punishment am I?

Actually, I'm kinda looking forward to it, but don't expect to finish reading it for about a year.

It IS a lot. And sometimes, I have to reread some of the stuff to make sure I have a thorough understanding of what's going on.

Damn. What have I gotten myself into?
