The moon's light/
I leaped for one night/
Call it the brightest night
that ended in sudden silence
Fell off balance and landed in the ocean
A sea of troubles
my heart sunken in ruble
Only to come back and do it again tomarrow
Do it a thousand times if I have to
Don't give a ****
since 2pac declared "Thug Life"
But now a vision much more global
Sands of Oman, beaches of Sawadi
Seen the moon over Mekkah
Seen beauty and things ungodly
But the most beautiful sight ever seen
Was looking into the eyes of
my first love when I was just 14
Either that or my sons eyes in the morning
I'd come home from work and there he'd be
Smilin lookin at the sunshinin in his room
A plain wall gets a borrowed splendor from sunlight
My baby boy lights up rooms and dark nights
His smile transcends time and space
His face is as bright as the full moon
Shiny and cleaner than the bluest ocean
I used to go to the ocean when I was younger
And feel more lonely than all the widows of martyr's
I remember the when America invaded Iraq
and I walked off by myself to the shore of a Lake in California
And looked off into the distance of till my vision no longer existed
And thought of what I used to think life was and somehow I missed it
Love left, exited, and returned in a thousand forms
A lover shouldn't complain when it's time to be washed and cleansed
For the rug is cleaned from dust particles lost when it gets beaten
I apologize to anyone and anything I've ever hurt in my life
All I've done is try to reach all the way to 7th sky
So if I fail, then like TR said, I'll fail while daring greatly
And never exist with those timid souls that choose safety
and last of all, like Pac said...
**** the world cause this is how you made me!
