One thing I learned(found out) on my persuit for greater knowledge on weightlifting and nutrition; is that people obtain far better results when they rely more on wholefoods than supplements. Im not saying that supplements are not important, of course they play an important role, but only as an accessory so do speak. what Im trying to say is 60% to 75%(or more) of your diet should be based on wholefoods, and the rest use supplements.
Anyway, as far as supplements for cutting cycles. check, lipo-6(by nutrex) for burning fat. theres tons of other fat burning supplements, Im just not big on taking them(fat burning supps) so I think other members of this forum might assit you better on this regard. You should also up your protein intake on a cutting cycle, so stock up on whey protein, (and also on casein protein, which is good to take it before going to bed or as a meal replacement since the human body absorbs casein protein at a much slower rate compared to whey protein).
Anyway check wannabebig.com or bodybuilding.com for more info on nutrition and weightlifting.

Thanks for the info too. I just want to have a healthier lifestyle since I getting older. I don't want to be around 30-35 looking like a slob like some of the people I see at work. Plus I getting sick and tired of having to go to men's warehouse or the local hood spot to get my shirt in 3x. I trying to go for a more leaner look and get my Christian Troy dress game going (all my nip/tuck heads know what i'm talking about.)

What kind of results did you see after one year of cardio? And what is a typical cardio session for you?

I usually hit either the treadmill, bike or a stairmaster for 30 min 2-3 times a week. I notice that I gotten slimmer in the waist by 2 inches but I didn't change my diet until about a month ago. I want to get more serious about working out. I never had a problem motiviating myself to go lift every week but i need to put that same motivation into doing some cardio work at least 5 times a week if I want to reach my goal.

Some people swear by apple cider vinegar. Also - coconut oil.
1 tbsp of ACV diluted in glass of water. Drink this daily. Coconut oil can be used for cooking, it is heat resistant and will not turn into trans-fat. A little goes a long way. Make sure it's extra virgin.

My trainer is a big fan of that, but this is also at 24Hour Fitness Gym and I think he get's some financial incentive off of that. I'm skeptical of any fat burning pill to actually burn fat.. I know that Lipo-6 is very popular with body builders and is in every fitness magazine, but I'm thinking it's like most fat burners in that it just uses huge ass doses of synthetic caffeine (that's where people's energy "kick" comes in from) so you move more and can't sleep.
Quickest way to lose body fat is to find out how much you naturally burn (http://www.24hourfitness.com/html/fitness/fit_calc/rest/)by just resting, and consume less than that amount or discipline yourself enough to burn off the amount you go over and then some. For me, this ends up being burning 500 calories a day, and I would never be able to do that in just 30 mins. Since you have been lifting for so long, your muscles are likely to burn more calories while you are resting so you may not have to do as much cardio.
What is your body fat %?

This past summer, I was using the Mega-T green tea pills. For the most part, it did somewhat suppress my apetite, but you can also factor in the fact a person typically eats less in warmer months.
It was a good run. And for the most part, i was working out at least 4-5 days a week (on average), eating pretty healthy but i drank several times a week (those who keep up with my usual rants in the Fitness Forum are familiar with my binging chronicles).
Any who, i was combining the green tea with flaxseed oil and the occasional protein shake (i wanted to consume protein as a meal replacement, but i noticed that i was only gaining more mass; but i was ultimately trying to achieve the toned look, not muscular marvin).
Now i'm on Zantrex 3 (wrapping up my first bottle of 84 capules, starting the next bottle by the end of this week).
It acts as a "rapid" weight loss system that boosts extreme energy and does not contain ephedrine.
No true side effects; but make sure you drink a full glass of water and compliment the pills with a meal (as it is activated by food).
I like it. It's a great way to cheat your body and fooling it into losing weight. There's a high concentration of caffeine; so it should be in ones best interest to stray from it during the evening hours (unless you workout late, but i wouldn't suggest it. I just took a couple prior to working at, maybe at 7 and i feel like shiit right now; just got back from working out, too!).
I never really tried anything else, but i want to get into Hydroxycut so i can lose as much weight as possible before xmas/new years. I'ma be in new york for new years eve and i want to achieve the greatest results possible by working out, eating right and throwing in some supplements as well.
Just for rants:
I'm 224 and i would like to descend to a more ideal weight of 200. That's very unlikely for me cuz i'm such a big boy (just about 6 foot and a lot of mass for somebody of my ethnicity/background). I've always been pretty husky; but after registering my numbers in that body/mass/index calculator... i'm considered overweight (of course those numbers truely depend on the individual because muscle weighs more than fat)... but i need to lose some pounds.
AHHHH!!!!
