Hybrid Theory was the classic mainly because of the sales, and the way it sold. When's the last time u heard a album full of singles -- good singles at that? I knew kids in the hood from DC to NY to Philly who were listening to LP. No rock group has ever broken down boundaries like that. 10 million plus copies sold!

Meteora was classic in the way it was produced. Really great sound and nice package, but I don't know, it had a short replay value, and the songs were too similar to the HT ones. Meteora was like a darker version of Hybrid Theory.

No it wasn't.

Hybrid Theory was the best rap-rock album from that era, but that's like being the world's tallest midget. Meteora was the 2nd album that wasn't quite as good.
