Havent been on the forums in a while so i dunno if that has already been said, but the shyt is great. i guess the retail drops in a few months but this retail leak is real good. Australia is one of my favorite tracks up there. what do you all think

I agree, the shins really did well with this one. Australia is great, and I think a comet appears is really beautiful too. I was worried about how they would follow up two classics, but this album is really solid. The band still continues to grow while not straying away from their beach boys-esque sound. James Mercer is just a great songwriter, once you get down to it.

i'm still not sold on this one... i think colin's sound is a bit toooo adventurous for my blood. i was hoping for more picaresque, not more pink floyd. one of the more dissappointing releases of the year, IMO.
