If any of you are looking to burn fat ,but also have that cut look ,i suggest you try this program. A lot of times ppl will lose fat ,but they don't have that cut look about them. They just look like they lost weight ,but there not toned. No Muscle or definition. This program will help you not only burn fat ,but also add on muscle and give you a more toned/cut look at the same time. Fat Burn Secrets of Bodybuilders & Fitness

First of all its extremely hard to accomplish both at the same time, unless you are cycling chemicals(taking Anabolic steroids). Burn fat and gain muscle that is, so its much easier to do it in stages and its also healthier to do it in stages.
The proper way weightlifters, like myself and others, get to do this is by bulkying up, 1st phase. When you're bulkying, you basically gain muscle and fat since you're pumping the heaviest weights and consuming alot of calories. After you reach your intended weight target, you gradually start reducing the number of daily calories until its at about half of the # calories you were consuming during bulkying. You keep this consumption for a determined amount of time, usually until you reach your next weight goal. At the same time, you keep lifting hard, 60-70% of your max. eventually, you'll lose weight, and mostly body fat and you will retain most of the muscle you put on while bulkying, 2nd phase.
So, thats basically the reason why knowledgable weightlifters or fitness peeps don't usually buy into schemes like the one from the link you put up. but thanks for the info nonetheless.

This seems like spam. Should I delete this thread?
You made it semi-worthwhile with your scientifical reply khalid, but you and other regular posters just let me know......
Not possible, close thread.
I don't care who said this, what these studies proved, what he or she said... it flat out is not possible. Even looking at it from a theory perspective it is not possible.
The only exception to this rule is for new people who experience Hypertrophy in which they gain muscle and maintain or lose fat simply due to a sudden rush of GH and Testosterone, very similar to the effects of Steroids like Khalid has already pointed out.

Nah leave it open; good for other posters to know which myths are being solved.

Your not going to burn fat and gain muscle in 1 week. Its a process. Just like its a process to increase your vertical jump if you play basketball. This will put you on track to accompolishing a cut look once you have burned the fat off. Its not just the workouts ,its the dieting also.
Boxers are able to go from 185 pounds to a ripped 154 within 3 months. Without Steriods. Its about doing the proper workouts ,and being on the right diet.

How is it a scheme? I was 220 pounds ,now im down to 185 from this program. I dont like lifting weights. Id rather have that Prime Roy jones look over the bodybuilder look. Im in to playing B-ball also. The weights get me to stiff.

All you will be doing is burning fat and TRYING to maintain what muscles you have. Anyone who drops that kind of weight will be "ripped", that doesn't mean they have actual mass in terms of size, you can simply see more fiber on their body. They don't gain muscle, their muscle finally shows itself.

I agree ,thats a good point about mass. What i meant about muscle was more of a cut look. Think Boxer type look. Sugar Shane Mosley between fights walks around at like 170 pounds ,but then trains down to 154 within 3 months. He does it with the proper dieting and workouts. I wouldnt say he has a mass look ,but he is cut ,and you can see the muscle definition.

I have the book. It explains and gives techniques how you can do what most people do in 1 year, in half a year.
Khalil, your post shows you know nothing.
Bulking and cutting stages are wastes of time. Your actually doing more harm, as when you bulk, you are creating more fat cells, that you'll never be able to get rid of. I reccomend you search on google "The Truth About Bulking"
Now why did I tell you that? Well, the book mentions a technique that is 10X as powerful as bulking/cutting stages, and takes HALF of the time, with out the side effects (fat cells, and permanently screwing up your metabolism)
What is this? Calorie/Carb cycling. I lost 20 pounds, and gained an inch everywhere, and increased all my lifts by 40+ pounds after doing 7 4-day cycles...that's right, I did all that in under a MONTH.
Also the book provides useful information regarding the right times to eat what, and the right times to train. It contains alot more, you'll have to buy the book to see for yourself.

First of all you don't create Fat cells; for the last time... your body has a predetermined amount of fat and muscle cells. How big these cells get is up to you. When you lose weight, fat cells simply deflate and shrink they do NOT go away. With that being said, its not possible to create NEW fat cells. The same can be said for Muscle cells.
Secondly, bulking and cutting IMPROPERLY will lead to a crashed metabolism; this book isn't putting a flag any where. Its simply stating the obvious, along with feeding you false information. Crash dieting and going on all out bulking diets where you eat everything in site is NOT HEALTHY. What I do, and advise others to do, is go on clean bulks where you simply increase your food intake to support muscle growth. These increases in food come from healthy and natural choices that people usually eat on a fat loss diet, except in higher amounts. I don't advise people to binge on fast food and processed crap to gain weight.
And Lastly, this magical thing you call Carb and Calorie cycling is nothing new. If anything your on a Keto diet or CKD diet which has been proven to cut large amount of fat while maintaining muscle... you DO NOT GAIN MUSCLE ON A KETO DIET UNLESS YOU ARE STILL EATING EXCESS AMOUNTS OF PROTEIN AND CALORIES. But, you won't lose strength either. You will end up either maintaining it or gaining some due to High intensity lifting or what I call Heavy Weight/Low Rep lifting schemes. I use Keto and CKD myself when I want to drop fat without sacrificing muscle and strength... plus I learned all this without spending unnecessary money on a f*cking book!

Muscle is metabolically expensive, meaning you need calories to maintain or grow it. Through pure hypertrophy or the response of stress on skeletal muscles, can muscle increase in size and strength. The body adjusts to whatever it is given. In this case, maximal or Myo-fibrillated hypertrophy is most effective for muscle growth or BULKING. It still amazes me to this day why people fear that word. Bulk, is by no means, a technical term, but it should be universally understood. But I digress.
As far as dieting is considered, does the book illustrate anything on oxidation, inflammation, the leptin/ghrelin or CART/NPY battle, glycogen to glucose conversion (and vice versa), when and why the body increases insulin levels or the production of steroids, etc? Probably not - just skims some facts while leaving some holes, claims to talk science about the workings of the body and still manages to get some great reviews like most self-help books.

*sigh*, Shaolin is very knowledgeable along with Big H and Khalid. You apparently can't answer or refute anything they are saying...therefore you feel the need to demean or belittle their input. Classic tactics from individuals who have nothing to offer and/or are ignorant to the subject matter.
P.S. He has Bruce Lee in his avi because he admired his work ethic and dedication.
