2gunsup mentioned in another thread http://sparkpeople.com -- anyone else checking it out? I guess it is more for weightloss/general fitness than bodybuilding, tho there do seem to be groups devoted to building body.
I like how you enter a target weight & date, then it tells you how much calories you should eat per day/week and how many you need to lose, then gives you tools to enter and track each.
Today I learned that even tho I eat healthy-ish, it's portion sizes and snacks that creep up on me. Also that pesto sauce is very high in fat :(
still poking around looking at their other features and community and stuff... many thanks!

yea they seems to have a strong community emphasis, which I can give or take, but I like the spirit of it. Giving points and making little quizzes and all that.
Now that see different types of sites tho, makes me wonder if I could find one more oriented to the whole foods type lifestyle.... *goes a-googlin*

I signed up but I dont think I made my profile public? I hope not at least.
I have to say I'm really liking the site. I didnt find a better one. The feature where you enter a recipe and then get the nutritional breakdown is fabulous.
Tracking calories like that is just a really good (mental) exercise. I do it before I eat, to see what the damage will be. Then if I see like, too many carbs, I can cut my portion size in advance, or add more protein to a meal. I think I also need to start taking calcium and iron supplement.
frick@having to go back today and add on the drinks I consumed last night to yesterday's total! I didnt drink beer tho (yay me).... but HOLY #!%* @ the amt of calories and carbs in cranberry juice and vodka!! totally blew my count :-\

I tried to PM it but I dont wanna make my SN public until I know for sure what ppl can see about me... What's urs maybe you'll let me msg you on that site?
WOW@drinking 12 oz. of vodka! And wow@that packing 771 calories! sheeeeit, that doesnt sound like it'd be too good on an empty stomach LoL. But out of curiousity, what do you mix it with? juice used to kinda make me feel like a healthy lush :guilty:
I bet you could add some healthy supplements to vodka and make it taste okay  like vitamin C powder or something lmao

lmfao, yeah, well i mix it with water cause I dont want to add any more calories to it ya dig
well I have cut down my alcohol consumption a whole lot, I use to drink 2 liters of vodka or rum on weekends. That drink I had last Friday was the first I had in 3 weeks.
