Start 5'9 165
now 5'9 160 1 week later

Ok so I use to consume anything and everything i wanted, so i don't know how much calories i took in a day. Now i am on a 1500cal diet and i've lost 5 pounds in 1 week. I think I might have used to take in around 3000cals a day. So is it safe to move top 1500cal diet that quick?

Another thing is i get these massive cravings for junk food throughout the day, i won't give in but what could i be doing wrong?

heres basically my typical day the last week

4-5 16fl oz waters a day
breakfast/ 3 eggs with tsp of ketchup
snack/ 1 fruit
Lunch/ fetachina alfredo healthy tv dinner(sp?) (or any tv dinner )
snack/handful of veggies
Dinner/ turkey sandwich with tsp of mayo and a slice of cheese

all adds upto or around 1500cals.

One more question. I started to do the program HITT http://www.musclemedia.com/training/hiit_table.asp
and i've been doing it for the past week everyday for 5mins. Is is suppose to be done everyday or eevry other day?

And is a the incline/decline/flat bench press on a workout machine just as good as the real thing??

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

it doesn't look to me as if you're eating enough. for breakfast instead of eating 3 whole eggs, try an egg white omelet. my girl makes hers with 2% mozzerella, spinach and chicken breast cutlets. best omelet i ever had in my life. as far as the tv dinners go, you can't go wrong with the healthy choice meals although i prefer "smart ones" myself. i think you can also have a little bit more dinner than just a sandwich.

and do the hiit every other day to give your body time to recover.

try www.SparkPeople.com , its free to sign up, they have a good nutritional tracker where you can track what you eat. It sets calorie intake ranges for you automatically based on your goals.

I've lost 10 lbs. since I've signed up.

Yo thanks guys, i'll try the sparkpeople thing to.

I've been doing the HIIT program everyday, but i guess im gonna start doing it everyother day. When i do just 4 or 5 mintues of that im wore out to the bone, but after that im good, i just feel like thats not enough for me, but thats the purpose of the program right, cutting time off because it works better then a 25 or 30 mintue jog.

And for the eating part i know im not eating enough. Its hard not having any cash and picking through the fridge for some good stuff. I'm going to the market tommorow to buy some tv dinners and lunchmeat, swiss and bread. I'm gonna try making a crusant(sp?) for lunch with 3 eggs and so oj.

By the way im 157lbs and still got chub on me, god im skinny evrywhere else except my lower abdoman and it just wont budge, 5 more lbs and im at my goal, hopefully the pudge we be gone or almost gone.
