hey yall, its been a minut since i got back to this site, liek almost a year....but anyways...

I gota class for midi production and was wondering if any of you got the M-Audio Trigger finger???I gotta write a paper on apiece of gear i wanna cop, and picked that one, since its in the price range etc...neone know how it compares to the good old MPC and if the the audio trigger finger is worth gettin???? let me know any details if u used it..thanks...

i've never used it but midi controllers like the trigger finger are sooo necessary © hov!

but seriously, if you make beats on the computer they will change the way you approach in within a month or two. it does take a while to figure out and get comfortable with, but it's definitely worth the time.

in june i bought an MPD16 for $99. anyways, i spent a few weeks messing with it, there was a time when i was kinda fed up and didnt see the need for it... but now? heh, i can't see myself going without it. i use it for everything from drums, chops, bass... makes me wanna pick up an mpc1000 (in the future).

check out the trigger finger, the korg padKontrol, and the MPD (16 or 24).

as far as comparing with the MPC, it can't because its just a midi pad. the mpc is the full system. but it definitely brings your PC setup a step closer.

I use the trigger finger. It does what its supposed to. I had an mpd16, the pads were horrible though...
