The new Sparklehorse album is hella dope

Has more of a guitary, indie sound but Linkous' undeniable creativity shines through. First track is immense...it brought out that Radiohead Bends era vibe. Whole album is sick though, infact probably his most consistent and enjoyable effort, even though I loved Its A Wonderful Life

Do you have a link for the album? I went to see Sparklehorse a couple weeks ago and it seemed like their new songs were a lot more upbeat than their older albums. I love the atmosphere on It's a Wonderful Life, but hey, the man has been in immense depression the last few years so I guess that's the price that you pay in order to create such an album.

But I think Sparklehorse is one of the most underrated American bands. A lot of new people don't know who they are just cause they don't get good reviews on Pitchfork.

LOL, just playin'. I'm lost on the whole downloading music front...but seriously support good music like this...download the new Lloyd Banks album not this.

And yeah it def is more up tempo...but still at times it gets pretty bleak, like the track with Tom Waits is some Elliot Smith cut your throat shiit.
