Its been on my mind, while i'm killin some time
the reasons that my people are still in rewind
i try to sit n' remind my self of generous times...
but 90% of us are starvin, n we're still on the grind...

so i'm fittin to find, answers... but shlt doesn't rhyme

i lay my pen on my pad... and pray they get intertwined...

i hurry back and ignite roots... growing whispers from roars...

martin was reversed from the norms, malcom thirsted for storms
we're not some black I on society, that hurts when it forms...

i certainly mourn for those who will not eat what their fed...

i really felt this.
makes me think of the panthers
and that whole movement that was
stressing community unity and self sufficiency

while the end of the rhyme kind of reminds us
that that spirit still lingers on the low and some day
will rise if it is not already rising slowly and steadily

just by you being aware and feeling this i would
