My trainer recommended a supplement to me that gets rid of the fat on your liver (the brand is Apex something, I think every 24 hour fitness gym carries them).

How do I know if I have a fatty liver? What are the benefits of lipotropics and do I really need them? I often feel that the trainers are pressured to sell those products to as many people as they can and I'm skeptical about any pills.

Sorry if this has been asked already.

Ah.....you probably don't have a fatty liver, and if you did your personal trainer would have no way of knowing it.

Lipotropics liquify fats, they can help prevent a fatty liver.

If you eat a lot of dead animal supplementing with them might help a bit, but the benefits are fairly minor. Most of the supplements are sucky. They are only really effective in injection form as part of a cocktail that your doctor would prescribe to you after said dr decided your liver was mad greasy

The pill forms are fairly useless and sold by corporate personal trainers and gnc to fat people looking for magic bullets.

If u r afraid of getting a fatty liver, then watch you diet.

Oh, and never buy anything that is sold at a corporate chain unless it's a really basic product like a protien shake, and comes from a fairly respected company like an EAS
