but shyyyt, im leaving for nyc tonight after 10. im wondering if I could still go and make the trip...

I love their music the king buzzo has the most random lyrics ever. i've been bumping the Bullhead Ep and stoner witch lately. Kurt cobain got me into them after he talked about how original and raw they were. after i checked out houdini i was hooked...

anyway are Melivins shows worth it? seems like they are pretty good from what ive seen on dvds.

well i aint going no more...at least i'll make it to nyc on time, plus i can always see them on another date in nyc

They are quite honestly one of the best live acts around. Considering they are one of the most underrated, and influential bands of the past 20 years, I'd say you are a fool for not going to see them.

There would be no Nirvana without The Melvins. Nevermind the fact that The Melvins are the far superior band anyways.

yes it is...kurt looked to them like they were gods or something...it's funny because they helped nirvana get on their feet but they said they only did that because the were cool with alot of the band members. they didnt think they would amount to anything because they were basically bums...funny

nirvana is better but not by far IMO. the only way they have nirvana beat is by creativity and guitar playing. nirvana has them when it comes to songwriting, drumming, bass guitar, singing....

true, they are great, very versatile and extremely hard to categorize. it's like they make up new subgenres with every album.

i wanted to go to their show really bad but i didnt have the time man. one of my friends was supposed to he'll tell me how it went. i told him to cop me a T if they were selling any...
