I'm a HUGE Killers fan. Hot Fuss is one of my favorite albums ever. I thought it was nearly perfect. So of course you know I've been anticipating Sam's Town like crazy. Brandon Flowers hyped up the album something serious in every interview. I thought he was getting ahead of himself but I heard "When You Were Young" and thought it was excellent.

So I got the album. I've only listened to it all the way through once so I'm in no position to make major judgments about it, but it's definitely not the amazing album Hot Fuss is. I think it's pretty good and it's gonna get a lot of play from me for a while, but it's just not the epic, masterpiece of an album I was expecting. Still, I like it a lot.

I should have given this album some more time before I talked about it. I forgot that I barely liked Hot Fuss when I first heard it and then it became one of my favorite albums. The same thing is happening with Sam's Town. After listening to it more and more this sh1t is really growing on me.
