Is it VU you hate or Lou Reed? Because I can understand a certain amount of hate for VU (Nico, quite frankly, makes me gag) but I can't see a fan of good songwrtining having anything against Lou Reed. But being the main songwriter for VU a lot of people (myself included) look at Lou Reed and VU as one and the same.
