Greetings all members of SOHH, and regulars of the FITNESS FORUM.
I just wanted to get some feedback the forum. Is it what you expected, or is it dramatically different? How so?
Do you have ideas that would perhaps get more people involved? Are there topics that do not get attention, or worse, not even mentioned, and you want in-depth information on these topics?
I think that this forum is being used well. For the most part, it isn't like the other forums in SOHH which people act a fool and fulfill their "fantasy" in the virtual world that is the internet. I feared this initially, but all in all, people have given their best efforts to helping others stay informed by expressing their experiences or what they have learned using a variety of resources that might not be avaliable to others.
Anyway, before I blab on, please give some feedback!

it's pretty much what i expected it would be.. started out pretty strong, tapered off a bit, and is now essentially frequented by the same handful of people with the occasional stragglers who wander in from their home forums when bored..
which is historically pretty much the final destination for all subforums on SOHH. i'm not complaining though, i appreciate the ones who always give good advice and feedback.

that is very true, it's a nice break from usual sohh fukkery. I've gotten good info and I think it's worth mentioning, have never felt disrespected in here. Which is more than I can say for other places around sohh.
My only wish it was that it was more women in here; you and Khalid and others do a good job addressing everyone's issues, but the greater volume of posters is male and the fitness goals are just not that similar except for the hardcore ladies who hold it down in here. But, TLR does provide a spot for women's issues too (at least in theory) sooooo, I cant complain too much.

I think the fitness forum has blossomed quite a bit in its own way. A bit different from the other forums, mostly in the way people address each other and topics. people have been really patient and appreciative of one another, for the most part. In a sense its a more mature environment, so do speak.
I always wanted a forum where we could discuss all realms of fitness and nutrition. Also hardcore lifting, powerlifting and so on, of course. To my hardcore weightlifters out there Big H, Shaolin, ISpitsthatruth, Knockstar, whoa4 and others. I have learned somethings from these folks and I hope I have given some useful information to them as well. And I wish we all can continue on this path.
I have also learned some stuff from some of the ladies that frequent this forum. Your contributions have not gone unnoticed and I really mean it. The ladies have been really cool and patient when requesting for help/tips or adding sugestions. It has helped tremendously as far as attracting more females over to the healthy side. kudos. And Like elle simple said, it would be awesome to have contributions from more females in here. And then we as a forum would be more complete. Anyway, EAT SMART, LIFT HARD, LIFT SMART and EAT BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
STACK IT, ATTACK IT and then RACK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pretty much what Logic expected, this place is good to get advice and learn routines, health tips etc Logic notice this place was at its peek during the summer when ppl wanted washboard abs in 3 weeks lol but to keep this place going Logic suggests that ppl start posting pics showing the results from there workouts and diets sort of like a before and after thing when others see the pics especially if the routine really works it would spark interest from other posters and create motavation hence threads stay more active
It has helped me a lot in terms of information , theres a lot i have learnt and debunked a lot of myths about weightloss . The information i have learnt has saved me a lot of money because i was going to get a personal trainer and a nutritionist. Keep it up
Great concept and so far a success in my opinion. Co-sign to what Khalid said, its like an information exchange on this b*tch. I like to offer help in areas that I'm familiar with I hope its put to good use. I'm glad to see people taking an interest in their health, even if it is a little. I have learned a few things from other heads while on this joint and I'm sure I've taught people a few things, either way I'm happy the way its working out.
The health of folks in this country is on a serious decline, we represent the minority at this point.

this is pretty much it. i know havent been as dedicated tot his forum as i was at first but i been busy and shytg with life in general. hell i just started getting back in the gym recently.
it's a great forum only becuz it is prolly the most honest forum. you get ppl in here with honest struggles and they get honest answers on how to help themselves physically.

I'm happy with how it is...would love for more ladies to post in here, but overall I think the guys (true workout heads) are very helpful & always respectful...
I'd love to see more stuff about diet...not really so much about weight-loss, but just more info about eating healthy, avoiding carcinogens...things like that

great feedback guys.
Unfortunately, I will be posting way less from here on out due to my new career  - but will be on a few times a week.
Good luck with your health. Every time you workout and eat well, you will be that much healtier during your middle age; which, in turn, means you will have a longer youth.
You do not get old because of age, you get old because of deteriorating health. The most overlooked truth that I know of.
Now, isn't fitness worth the struggle.
And yes, I have learned from this forum, so I am happy. Keep it up!

thats because this forum is apart of The Ladies Room when it should be apart of the Coli. Fitness and sports go hand and hand even though it was TLR ppl who begged for a fitness forum it should really be in the Coli this forum would be more active if it was over there
