Has anybody ever heard this? I've only heard Another Homocide Scene/Anyday Can Be Your Last, I hear that there's an entire demo tape of music that he recorded when he did this stuff, can anyone verify this?? Also, I'm always hearin about how sick his freestyles on hot 97 were - not tryin to turn this sub-forum into an MP3 factory but if anybody has anything, even if it's just snippets, it'd be appreciated if you could up it.

Another homicide Scene I mean, ****in cant edit anything anymore.
anyways, what's the date for that Project Prophet song? If you heard half-a-mils older songs that I mentioned, you notice his style is mad different, voice is a lot more harsh. I thought that he might have switched up his vocals to sound more smooth when he got with The Firm and them.

yeah but you notice how his style is mad different on those two tracks? Any day can be ya last it's a little more rough, he smoothed his vocals out more almost to the point where someone would say he changed his whole style but I don't think it was that big of a change, to say that he changed his entire style that is.

RaeDaChef, I gotta go ahead and disagree, I think that Da Hustle Don't stop is a dope album and there's at least a few joints on there that nobody could front on in my eyes.

I have the demo on cassette. I got it from DJ Mayhem, back when he was managin him in '95. DJ Scratch did 90% of the production on there. His freestyle session with The Roots playin live, with Sadat X, Lord Tariq & Natural Elements is on there too. They went at it for like an hour and a half. I've been wantin to throw it on CD for years, just been too lazy to do it.

Yeah, I got the session with The Roots, Half a Mil, etc. too. Its hot.

I remember in the summer of 95, when "One More Chance" - Biggie was out. There was a freestyle going around with Half-a-mil ripping the "One More Chance" beat to shreds. This n!gga literally rapped nonstop for 3 1/2 minutes without taking a breath, all multis the entire time. He must have been wired up on cocaine or something. You know how Nas raps real fast? Well, Half a Mil was ripping like that to the "One More CHance" beat.

He was on Mr Cee's show one night on 91.5 and he played a few joints from it. DJ Scratch produced both of them. I heard he wrote some of AZ's rhymes. Damn I cant find them

That's what this thread was about at the start....I don't think that if anyone does they're gonna post it, they would have already done so by now which is alright though, this isn't a download-centered forum.

I know exactly what you mean - hard to explain what it sounds like to me listening to some of mil's verses - it's like he completely takes the track over and surpasses it and is disgusted with it or some shyt and decides to destroy it and is like fukk it I'ma only show ya'll a little bit of what I'm capable of. Like really taking the track and just destroying that shyt. Sorry to get on some type of nerd stuff but I can't quite explain what it sounds like to me when I hear his verses like that; if he's not one of the all time greats (I guess you need more albums for that distinction) then he's definitely one of the most underrated. I know that some would just say "he's nice with multis" but he's on the next level with it. (I speak about the man in the present tense rather than the past tense because the music lives on and so does the man with it; no disrespect).

come on Jack Tripper up that in memory of Milliato!!! You had that Deda album too and never upped it and we had to wait until Pete officially released it. He deserves the recognition and love. Its funny that as soon as Mill started runnin with the firm and AZ everybody wasnt feelin him the same way they did when he was underground. I personally liked the stuff he did after WNYU and thought he was real raw AZ with a lil G Rap.
