man, i'm tired of this $hit. i do countless sit-ups, i got a six pack & everything, but no matter what i can't seem to get rid of that fukkin fat on the sides of my stomach. i already got a big chest & shoulders but they don't look as impressive as they should because my stomach & waist are too fukkin wide. i got more a soda can shape and it's pissin me off. i'm tryin to work my upper body into that V shape...yall weightlifters know what i'm talkin about. big ass chest & shouders, and little ass waist/abs.

do i need to add some cardio to workout?...do some different type of sit-ups?...or is it more more of a diet thing?..i know i could definitely be eatin alot better. lookin for some advice...any help would be appreciated.

you can't spot reduce you're just gonna have to lower your overall bodyfat and hope for the best.

find ways to cut calories, a lil here and a lil there. drink water to help you feel fuller and eat more fiber. replace a meal with an apple or bowl of healthy cereal. anything to cut calories so you can get your bf% down.

it's hard to lose weight. I’m tryin to do it now.

I'm kind of in the same boat...it's hard as hell cause I'm trying to bulk up but also trim my midsection. It's kind of a dance w/calorie consumption, cardio activity and abdominal exercises. Your body might just have a soda can shape though...*shrug*

If you're satisfied with the amount of muscle you have, just maintain your muscle mass and go crazy w/the cardio. Depending on your body type one of those tasks will be harder than the other. I know for me it's easy to lose weight but hard as hell to maintain muscle.

Here is a suggestion

If you are working your obliques with machines and heavy weight, stop it all together because what you are essentially doing is increasing the size of your oblique muscles and pushing out the fat to get that square shape. Instead, just do side crunches or some variation of that, but do not use added weight at all and no more than once a week. I remember a trainer telling me this a few years ago. Good advice.

Run, run, run, and then run some more - You want to run so that you obtain an average heart rate of 150 to 155 bpm for 25 to 45 minutes four to five days a week. When you breath, instead of expanding your chest, expand your tummy to help increase your lungs when you are running - trust me, it helps a bit. Use Polar HR monitors (http://www.polar-usa.us/polar-monitors.html). Polar is affordable and considered the best of the bunch. Nike is way too expensive. Running without one is like driving without a tachometer. Run in the morning, but do so before breakfast <- very important.

Diet well. Make sure you get your daily vitamins and minerals and use as directed. Usually, the multis are supposed to be injested with a full meal, and taking them without a meal it would just go to waste since your body will reject it.

Keep lifting - for obvious reasons. But lift when you have full energy and wait at least 6 hours after you run - 8-12 hours is recommended.

in addition to what he said...

do STOMACH VACUUMS. Thats where u suck ur stomach in as close to ur spine as u can (dont worry, u wont) and hold it for 20 seconds and do it for 3 reps. Then every week, increase it by like 10 seconds.
Its an ancient Yoga technique.
I lost 4 inches off my waist after doing it for 3 months.

Because multis are not recognized by the body as nutrients. And if the body cannot recognize it, then multis are as good as waste, which the body rejects.

However, in order to "fool" the body, multis must be injested with a good meal. Now, there are some multis that can be taken without food, it's hard to find though - ask a qualified nutritionist about which brands.

and what kinda vitamins & minerals do you take?..don't really fukk with vitamins. i know that sounds bad, but i just never really fukked with em. good looks on the help.

cutting the alcohol is the best advice anyone posted in here. alcohol has mad calories, especially if you're binge drinking. all of those calories are going to your love handles.

cardio is the second best advice. there is no exercise you can do to put muscle on your lovehandles. i guarantee they'll go away with more exercise and less eating. if you want to lose weight easily just eat small frequent meals instead of a couple big ones, and make sure you don't eat within the couple hours before you go to bed.

i'm in the same boat you are and i plan on taking my own advice because it's worked for me in the past. i've been bulking for a while and i need to check myself and sacrifice the strength gains for a couple weeks in order to lean down.
