there's a good flux of fresh ny bands out, im feelin tv on the radio. that new rapture album might be good too.

any thoughts?

TV on the Radio easily. The Rapture's new record is cool. It makes for a nice listen. But the tvotr record is on a completely level.

Another cool band out of NYC right now is The Big Sleep.

sums it up very well. Don Gon Do It is one helluva song though.

what's up with these Big Sleep guys? do you ming posting an album or something?

Yeah, TV On The Radio completely went above and beyond with their latest record. Easily the best thing to come out of this so-called NYC scene. Pretty much obliterates all the other trendy b.s.

The Liars are also fantastic, but they're kinda all over the place now (i.e. Berlin, L.A., etc.)
