Hello SOHH
I think we should have a forum where people can discuss science, math, computers and technology etc. Maybe we can call it 'Droppin Science'. I think there is a real desire for this type of forum as can be seen in this thread http://forums.sohh.com/showthread.php?t=749357 that was put in JBO, when it obviously does not belong there since there was a serious intellectual discussion going on in the thread.
I think this forum will expand the horizons of the SOHH Forums, attract even more people and smarter posters to SOHH and increase the scientific and technical knowledge of current posters. Also it will create a place for people to ask technical questions about the internet and their computers. A lot of times people make technical threads in The Spot or other forums because they dont know how to do something on their computer but there isnt any forum to ask that question. So this forum will help alleviate that.
I don't think you can make it a subforum of Know the Ledge because the forum is too political.
I think the best way would be to make it its own seperate forum. I don't see any down side to this. This is a serious request and I hope you consider this.
