Thats what hardcore lifters call 'battle scars',you should be proud of those. I have some on my lats and the front part that connects my shoulders to my arms(on both sides), on my quads as well. And also a bit on my biceps. I got them through blood, sweat, hard work and ALOT OF FOOD, Im proud of them!!!!!!!

Up the Vitamin E, drink more water, and start using either Palmers or some other Cocoa Butter.

I was receiving UV treatment for a few I had on my chest and it faded them out nicely. F*ckin sessions are long and expensive, but now their selling home kits for it. Might pick one up when I get some extra money.

I've been looking into buying a Skin Brush but can't seem to find one. I read about skin brushing back home but since I had access to UV treatment I opted for that.

If anyone's interested, a friend just told me that breaking Vitamin E capsules and putting the oil directly on the stretch mark helps.

but the question... how effective?
depends on what you are looking for...

if you are expecting them to fade then it will help.

if you are expecting not to have any then forget it... although there isa form of laser surgery you can get to remove them..

I just rock them. I got them on my arms, under and at the shoulder, and I got them at the beginning of my bicedp that you can only see when I extend my arm.

I tried the Barmon cream a few years back, but honestly I couldn't commit to the applications and usually ended up forgetting to put it on. I'm still convinced that laser or UV treatment is the only way to HEAL stretchmarks, but creams and lotions can help fade em a bit.
