In a country meets hip-hop dance off, Martina McBride and Rascal Flatts will perform in Pittsburgh, while Diddy and Cassie hit the stage in Miami for NBC’s NFL Kickoff 2006 special.



When it comes to Diddy, we all know he’s rollin' with deep pockets full of cash, loves to perform, and is quite obsessed with the city of Miami – so no worries he will put on the show of all shows.


Yet, the jury is still out for Bad Boy newbie Cassie. It appears the young R&B singer, who sings about getting it on with you and your friends in "Me & U", has run into a bit of a vocal problem … she may be tone deaf.



Her live performance on TRL clearly shows Cassie has what it takes to make Ashlee Simpson sound like Mariah Carey.


Someone has even started a "We Prefer Lassie Over Cassie" petition to stop the singer from releasing another record, stating “We give her respect for trying, but her existence and presence to the music industry is becoming very annoying and pointless.”

If (or when) her vocals go south during the NFL special, I hope Cassie won’t resort to this performance number:
