Havent read Animal Farm but 1984's one of the best books I've ever read.

kind of... it was summer reading for 11th grade... i started reading it ran out of time and read about 3/4 it as cliffs notes...
i liked brave new world better (also summer reading)

1984 was deeper. Animal Farm was an easier..more flowing read IMO.
I dug all of the symbolism and such..it was dope.
PThe reason I like it is prob. because it formed the basis of my final year dissertation. Either way, I will devour anything by Orwell.
Has anyone watched the Movie 1984 starring *Someone* Hurt?
Its been on repeat on one of my cable channels...need to find time for that.

1984 is horribly relevant to today and thats what makes it a timeless classic.
Huxley's Brave New World is one other such book.

yeah i read 1984 - it was a required reading in 10/11th grade for me.

1984 is about the most blandly performed movies i've ever seen... which makes sense a bit since the life was sapped out of the populous in the novel.. but..didn't translate well into theatre...

they saythe fountainhead was acted worse..but the novel is one of the illest i've ever read...word up!!!!!! A Masterpeice by all definition...
