Dress code: Manhattan Casual
No constructions, jerseys, durags, hats or shorts (no exceptions for anyone)
Entrance at doorman’s discretion
The “Time 2 Shyne” Musical Showcase is a project that was created to provide unsigned and independent artist with the opportunity to perform their works in front of their peers and industry executives while educating and empowering themselves along with acquiring knowledge and networking with others of like minds that can help guide and prepare them for the success that they most sorely want and seek.
We are gathering unsigned artist (Singers, Rappers & Musicians) within the R&B, Hip-hop, Rap, Gospel, Reggae, Reggaeton, Rock & Roll and Pop music world from across the nation to compete in the T2S Musical Showcase for the grand prize worth $250,000.
SHOWCASE
All artists interested in participating are required to pay an entry fee of $250. This fee will entitle them to the following:
* Fifteen (15) tickets for the showcase and after party (Ticket value $20)
* Eight (8) minutes performance time.
* Artist name mentioned on Time2Shyne.com website, myspace.com page, IMAJEN Magazine and Imajen-NYC newsletter (going out to over 100,000 emails).
* Performance taped and copy of performance furnished to you.
GRAND PRIZE
In our pursuit of creating a great showcase competition we kept in mind that we needed to put together a grand prize package that would address and cover every aspect that needs to be when one is an unsigned artist. Our staff worked diligently with our sponsors to come up with the ideal package that is unprecedented in the music showcase realm to date. The following is what the grand prize winner will receive:
* Professional photo-shoot by one of the industry’s top photographer.
* Artist website created
* Artist package prepared(Bio, photos, publishing company, incorporation)
* Album recorded and mastered at a state of the art recording studio
* Album marketed and promoted by one of the music industry’s top firms
* Album manufactured for distribution and sale (At least 10,000 copies)
* Professional music video for single off of album
* Opening act for major recording artist
* Featured act on the T2S Musical Showcase tour
* Featured segment on T2S Musical Showcase DVD
* Featured article in IMAJEN Magazine
* Press day set-up for release of T2S Musical Showcase album
* T2S Musical Showcase Album release party in New York City.
All interested parties must send us the following information:
* Artist full name
* Company name
* Musical occupation
* Genre of music
* Date of birth
* Myspace.com page (If you don’t have one then you must furnish us with a CD with your latest work.
