Just what I expected it to be, some Kid A, Backdrifts type shiit and I love it. I know a lot will biitch about it but the real Radiohead fans will be able to appreaciate it. Theres some amazing electronic melodies on here, certainly like all of The 'Head's music it takes a while to sink in but its defintely worth the effort. It almost feels just like an appetiser for the Radiohead album.

It's a very modest record, and I'm glad it's modest. I know some people are going to expect the next Radiohead album from this record, but I think Thom just wanted to keep it as a nice little experiment.

Absolutely one of the worst albums I've ever heard. "Real Radiohead fans will appreciate this" but "Real Radiohead fans" are some of the most mindless people I've ever known about, who will accept almost any vague nonsense by insisting that it's deep and well thought-out. Since Kid A, for the most part, this band has been the opposite of deep and well thought-out. Their political statements are the assinine ramblings of children. They can't change elections and only serve as false becons to other children who are upset that they themselves can't change the world.

I can freestyle this album and the last 3 Radiohead albums by just moaning incoherently over rejected Aphex Twin beats.

David Bowie and Brian Eno already did all of Radiohead's so-called musical "innovations" thirty f.ucking years ago, and if you're not up on that--that's your own f.ucking problem and you deserve to remain misinformed and listening to music whose only point is to depress you while making you think you know more than other people.

Thom Yorke's ego is bigger than George Bush's and Tony Blair's combined.

Yes, they're still the best band since Nirvana.

why you so mad, man? it's obvious that you haven't really heard a lot of radiohead, because the only way you can hate the group this much is if you've never heard the sh!t before and just think they're overhyped because so many other people like them. i know, i had the same problem with the beatles back in 2001, before i bothered to listen to their albums.

and yeah, i've heard the david bowie/brian eno albums. i have them. radiohead's electronic era is a progression from that sound, it's not a straight jack by any strecth of the imagination.

Yes, they're still the best band since Nirvana.

lol, or maybe you just hate Kid A/Amnesiac/HTTT. my bad, heaps of people don't like these, especially the last two

I didn't like it. His acoustic version of The Clock that he did on Henry Rollin's show was pretty sweet though.

btw, ya they do have a degree of eno about them, but thats it. Obviously the man that invened ambiant music is going to be compared to tracks like "hunting bears" or "treefingers", but what about the rest of their catalogue? People that use that eno comparison always crack me the fukk up, because its obvious they have not listened to anything but Kid A. Try and say that anything on Hail To the Thief sounds like something on Another Green World. You can't, and that was their last fukkin album.

And as far as bowie is concerened, WHO HASN'T HE INFLUENCED?

Don't worry, anything connected with Radiohead brings out the weakass passive-aggressive tendencies in all of us. Don't be concerned, though, it's The System/Government/Technology that's really at fault for making us feel this way and we should beat it by . . . all huddling together and moaning incoherently.

You guys are insane.......
Radiohead....are one of the only bands in the past 10 yrs who are making exceptional music...music that is timeless...pushes the bounderies....always creative... always have amazing songs...dudes are master songwriters.....their melodies can't be fukked with......always having more to say in their music other than....."I love you, I miss you, come back to me...." etc....

These guys are our modern Beatles..
Shyt....ok computer gets better reviews than most beatles albums......well accomplished bands and artist have a huge amount of respect for them.

Yorkes solo album is a good listen. Very kid a and amnesiac. I listen to it often..however....I was hoping to hear more guitar and more choruses and more melody. Still, name 3 better solo albums released this yr? Thom yorke IS radiohead......these songs would be radiohead songs if thom would have brought it up to the band......that's how it works....he writes the music..sometimes with johnny....gives it to the band....and they add their little touches.....

Still....thom can do this shyt forever and still be relevant. Dude is that ill......
