tired of living my life as a failure
get off the ground cannot not dwell there
see now i plan to change my ways today
hope and pray this attitude will not stray
many who have heard this before not listening
so when i start they scat and say not again
not meaning to turn this thing into a sermon
i am gonna win this time that i am determined
i may not have a lot but i have enough
this i appreciate because times are tough
you feel me then you know that this is no lie
when you grow up poor you learn to survive
you cannot depend on no one but yourself
friends they only come when there is wealth
in order to maintain you must stay on the path
in spite of lack of gain cause times are bad
when you are feeling down take a look around
you cannot do that when the cell door sounds
you see life to me is like a chess game
think that shyt out before you move maine
once you put in the work the seeds will grow
then nothing but blessings your way will flow
things for your family you will be able to buy
then you will walk around with a tear in your eye
"when you finally break it all down it's the pride"
