I'm Back... "hurting To Give"

I've been on a Hiatus fam... You know how life gets. But I've never stopped writin so I'll be postin up a lot of my work soon...

Hope blessins have followed you all and you enjoy what I'm going to share with you...


In lighting candles;
I came to one in particular where the wick was consumed by it’s own wax.
I could have gotten another candle…
I could have skipped it.
But I didn’t.

I didn’t because I saw the potential for it to light if I TRIED…
So with my light; I bore down.
Diligently burning away the wax to give this candle life.

In my mind I envisioned sitting back and enjoying this particular flame.
Appreciating it out of the others because I salvaged it to shine as bright as the rest…

I envisioned as I kept burning…
I kept giving…
And got lost in that moment…

In hoping…

Wasting away my fuel and slowly…
Watching…
My light dim…

Even though, coming to terms that the wick was buried too deep in it’s own wax;
I didn’t stop.

I felt I couldn’t…
Until finally, with my own flame…
I burned myself…

I had to let go…
With no other choice…
I was hurting…
