View Full Version : Dieters: What Do You Eat For Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner?
i eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast, salad for lunch and soup for dinner. what are you all eating for those meals?
Today, got up and hit the gym (Cardio day), after:
Breakfast: 7 egg whites, Steel-Cut Oats, Black Coffee, followed with 32 oz. water
Mid-Breakfast: Protein Shake, 50 grams
Lunch: 2 Chicken Breasts grilled with Broccoli, 32 oz. water
Afternoon: Protein Shake, 35 grams, 2 Tbsp. Natural Peanut butter, followed by another 32 oz. water
Dinner: Grilled Top-Round Steak, Salad, 32 oz. water
Later tonight: Cottage Cheese or maybe some Casein Whey before bed; another 32 oz. water

i hate the word diet
breakfast: usually oatmeal w/rasins...or egg white omelet on whole wheat toast w/ sugar free jam.....or low fat granola w/ FF yogurt and some berries
snack: peach
lunch: baked potato....no protein so i was hungry by 3. sometimes ill make tuna and chop apples or pears in it. sounds gross but trust sis
snack: meant to eat some pineapple but got busy@work and forgot
dinner: sloppy joe w/ ground lean turkey. snow peas with a touch of butter
prolly have some chocolate ice cream later, SF. u gotta be careful w/ that SF ice cream w/ the sugar alcohols...it WILL hook you up

breakfast: bowl of cereal only becuz i dont wake up in time to make a very decent breakfast.
Lunch: some kinda cold sandwich.
Dinner- whatever i feel like cookin'. normally a low carb meal tho'.

Upon awakening: Slice of kamut bread with apple butter
1 hour later: bottle of water
Power lunch: Pita pizza (2 whole wheat pitas, organic marinara, arugula, yellow onions diced, shiitake mushrooms, balsamic vinaigrette)
1 hour later: bottle of water
Light Dinner: Soba noodles w/ organic veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, carrots)
Snack: 1 fuji apple the size of a softball, bottled water

damn that doesn't sound like much food for a fella..
here's what i ate yesterday:
breakfast: large smoothie made with ice, skim milk, vanilla yogurt, small banana, blueberries, protein powder, and 2 tbsp wheat germ... bottle of H20... 2 cups black coffee
snack: apple w/ natural peanut butter, bottle of H20
lunch: large grilled shrimp salad with shrimp, spinach, leaf lettuce, cukes, 2% cheese, egg whites, tomatoes, black olives, some crumbled blue cheese, and light blue cheese dressing... a few chunks of seedless watermelon... bottle of H20
dinner: grilled chicken breast with sliced peppers and red onions... grilled zuchini squash... cottage cheese & tomatoes... slice of whole grain bread w/ natural peanut butter & some honey.. bottle of H20.
snack: vanilla ice cream w/ homemade raspberry topping.. crack
my appetite has been HORRIBLE for the past several weeks/month ... i've been so upset all of the time, i've been unable to eat. it's finally coming back some now, thank goodness.. i shed like 10 pounds that i really didn't need to lose from poor eating.:thumbsdow
