I think I saw the light smile last night. It fell from the television onto your mouth, lips – parted, open – and it slept there, with you and you, found and full, calm. I left to walk through our home, upstairs and down, praying for peace to stay in our halls, to lay in our rooms, to fill all gaps and minds and open spaces then I saw it there, I saw peace there, curved, asleep, stretched out over your lips.
