I look in the mirror and touch my face....
Trace my nose with my finger tips...
Touch my lips...
Rub my thumb over my eyelids....
Grip my chin...
This is the image I broadcast to the world...
It is recognized by foes and friends....
But who am I really?...
I showcase a smile of confidence....
In hopes of not allowing you....
To question my inner misery....
Crying brings attention...
I rather keep you at arms distance...
I do a great job at protecting...
My hidden idenity....
So my image of a good woman....
Won't crash and burn like rubbage....
I can be who ever you want me to be...
I've learned to adapt to any situation....
So as I stand naked...
I look into the mirror....
And softly whisper...
Who am I really?

I'm def. trying to become more personal with my writing...it's normally the pieces the come straight off the top that are raw and real for me....
