The Hideout

We'd headout the back
thru the viaduct on da left
behind the building by the tracks
there it stood just behind the trees
you had to look hard inorder to see
the haven for my homies and me
we'd bring car tires and crates
even had candles for when it got late
man who got some fire we'd say
doing things that boys woould do
couldn't tell us nothing we was kool
ooh you gonna get it momma's lookin for you
we'd fix out bikes there eat junk food and drink pop
we hustle up change dryin cars at the car wash
man we should bring some girls over naw man
they would try and decorate and stuff and take over
then the going to the hideout stopped
don't know why I guess that we forgot
now the hideout has been fenced in
and we cannot visit our spot again
only in my memory the hideout & friends
