Yup.. I think he actually takes 3 or 4 samples from the game music in total.. that whole bassline is jacked from the title music, - then that beeping is from the player select screen.

I picked up the new Furtado yesterday at a local indie record store and it's easily one of the Top-5 albums of the year. There are probably 8 tracks from the album that could easily become Top-10 hits.

And those Timbaland beats... :ohmy:

Timbo's protege Danja really talented too. I can see Danja becoming a huge production star himself over the next few years, similar to Scott Storch's rise in popularity after working with Dre.

If you're talking about recent albums, I think Furtado kills Stefani there. I mean, Stefani had some great singles, but there was an unusual amount of filler on her album.

The CD is hot. I wasn't expecting it but you can't really lose with Timbo on the boards (unless your Magoo, cheap shot).

Gwen Stefani's album barely had any neutral tracks. Most of it was just straight up GIRLY and unlistenable. I haven't heard this cd but I plan to. That Promiscuous track bangs in the club.

pretty much total opposite. it was more of a folk-heavy vibe.
