OK, so I did about 4 or 5 sets or barbell lunges today. The highest I went was about 225 x 10, each leg (it was stationary lunges, not walking nor stepping forward). What do you guys think that weight would be equal to in squatting? I'm not looking for a precised answer, just you guys guesstimate or opinion.

I don't think you can really estimate your squat based on stationary lunges or lunging for that matter. The mechanics of both lifts a quite different even though they look similar. And lunging with 225lbs is pretty much asking for injury IMO. Since you don't want the weight interfereing(sp?) with your balance while lunging. its one of those lifts that doesn't require much weight to get a good pump. But hey, 'do you' bro.

I felt straight after, didn't feel no burn or nothin really. I just did it because I usually do stationary lunges since there's not enough room in my gym to walk with it, and I usually do only 135 about 20'x each leg for warmup. I also didn't feel like squatting, especially since my spotter wasn't there. Just a one time thing.
