Advantages?
I always heard it was a good look to do and I never ate it that much to begin with. Bye-bye 5 Guys burgers though :(. I did purchase a supplement as to avoid anemia, though I do eat plenty of leafy vegetables and all that.

Obesity I'm not worried about but all the other things I am. Go me for the health kick, but that's interesting stuff right there.

LMAO
I  sausage and stuff WAY too much. Though I did cop some ground turkey this week for dinner one night.
LMAO @ this thread. Go ahead of drop red meat if you want, but don't act like its f*ckin poison. Once again, those studies that "link" red meat to those diseases focus on Americans whose diets aren't exactly in line with healthy eating.
As with all the other threads supported by "studies", the people conducting these studies don't use double-blind tests and they typically don't take the MANY external factors, that contribute to those diseases and health issues, into consideration.
Keep doing your research and you'll come across just as many, if not more, studies that prove that red meat is a healthy food choice when a person is eating healthy and exercising.

Oh I know it. When it comes to this stuff, there's usually equal amounts of studies on both sides. I'm going to give it a try and see where I end up w/ it.
Not too often to find a Herd fan on here either.

I know you're going to see that flick they're makin' about the team w/ the plane crash too. Looks good and dope because they did the filming in Huntington.
They've had decent teams over the years, and put some talent in the NFL for sure.

Yea, I go to Marshall and the filming was a f*ckin hassle at times. The entire campus was locked down for 2 weeks and the filming was going on all over the place. I ran into a lot of the actors at the clubs and sh*t, got to meet McConaughey here and there, but the filming was kinda tough. Plus it was goin on near Finals so it was even more hectic.
But, hopefully this will be the year we can get back to having winning seasons. We still unsettled at QB so thats causing a lot of issues. Our saving grace on offense will be our tailbacks, but we need a leader at QB.
