i know there's no set-in-stone way to determine the exact # of calories you should take in daily.. unless i've heard wrong..
but can someone give me an EASY, mathematically simple way to calculate my BMR? i just used an online one, and i don't believe that i can eat the # of calories it said i could and maintain my current weight.
pweeze? yay experts! :O
Those calcs usually take the average of 5 or 7 different methods of calculating BMR's and gives you a number. Their usually pretty accurate, but not everyone is the same so its not 100% reliable. If you want a truly accurate BMR reading, your gonna have to seek a health service that offers it. It goes by different names but I have seen it as Metabolism Test, BMR Test, RMR Test, etc. Talk to your doctor about it, they can probably direct you to a center that offers the test.
