I'm looking for a new sports bra, need advice on best brands and places to shop.
Activities I'd want to use it for include jogging, elliptical, hiking and yoga. No bouncing! I want to avoid the "ledge" or mono-boob look and prefer the kind with a clasp to the kind that goes over your head....
any ideas?
Also where is a good place to find a decent selection of sports bras and knowledgable sales people? I cannot stand Sports Authority.

I have had trouble for years trying to find a sports bra, I inherited big breast. Now that I am breast-feeding they have gotten even bigger. I will definitely check out enell. Do you know what the highest size the are good for holding down?

Here goes the sizing chart http://www.enell.com/sizing.html -- looks like 50DDD or 52DD is the largest
The enell bra is the probably the only time in my life I'll wear size 0 LoL

this is what i have... i got it at victoria's secret for about $40 but it's not on the website..
it reminds of me 50's style bras; there's no movement and my boobs look pointy.

you dont find the underwire uncomfortable tho? heh@Shock Absorber Bra, that's a good name
So I was in Sports Authority again yesterday and decided to look through the bras again. After breezing through the racks with bra-style tops labeled S,M,L  I found the exact same bra I'd had since playing sports in h.s. but which had just fallen apart, and decided to get it since it lasted so long and is decent Champion Action-Shape Full Figure Sports Bra (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00008MN6M/104-7206526-3898364?v=glance&n=1036592) -- I wouldnt say it's NO jiggle (tho I hope being new its better than I think), but decent for the price ($40).
I'll cop the enell one too and compare

I can never find a supportive sports bra for myself...shoot i have difficulties finding a regular bra. i have to go to places like Nordstrom or Intamcy to find my size and they are at least $50

I wear a 32DD, so my size is pretty hard to find. I like most European brand companies. Felina, Le Mystere, and Chantelle has the best ones for my size and I get them all at Nordstrom's. Even their strapless and convertibles offer great support.
For sportsbras, I go to Lady Footlocker and find ones with good fabric (proper ventilation) and support. I always rock an underwire bra underneath the sports bra, though. I don't want to tear my elasticity and end up with floppers by the time I'm 40.

what brand strapless bra do you have? I think I am going to go next week to find one. I wear a 32G I used to think I was a 38 DD until I saw both Tyra and Oprah talking bout 80% of women are wearing the wrong size.
Last year my friends and I did a dance for an event so i purchased a tank sports bra and wore my real bra under it too. It still didnt help much though

I like the Hint of Skin strapless from Felina cause the edges don't show thru in tight halters.

They don't seem to have it in your size, though.
Le Mystere carries in your size

I don't know how seamless it is. My convertible bras are from Chantelle, the only thing that sucks is how the straps are so thick. I switched them out for comfy clear ones.
I try on bras at Nordstrom's, and often buy them online to get them cheaper.

oooh, that's trippy, cuz it looks like it does? I'll check that one out again, thx... er, how pointy we talking anyway? I dont want the Madonna Blonde Ambition look heh
my girl friend swears by underwire in her sports bras, she even sleeps in a bra with underwire to keep things perky, but I think that it would be too uncomfortable?? Even tho I wear underwire all day every day...
addendum to my comments on the Champion Action-Shape bra: I wore it on a two-day hiking/camping trip. Not too high impact an activity but everything stayed locked down, it breathes well and it was very comfortable, even to sleep in. But, the next day, I was adjusting it and pulled on the front part, wouldnt you know I hear a rip as some of the stitches come undone *sigh* I dont think it will affect the performance much, but also cant recommend it whole-heartedly
the search continues.......
