before the jigga-nut hugger B!tchez enter the thread:
In Major Way was release in 1995
and before the groupies talk about sales:
In Major Way went platinum, and the carbon copy of Jigga CD went wood because E-40 was ten step ahead of Jay-Z and has always been ahead of jiggaz game.

In A Major Way is one the greatest albums ever. E-40's mastery of the english language, flow, and lyrical ability is on par or better than almost anyone in the industry and he's always experimenting with his voice and flow. The dude deserves all of the respect he gets.

Real Spittage. Both hot releases. I got my favorites from both albums on my weekly playlist right now. It seems like 'Reese nibbled Out' was the same voice of 'In A Major Way' but with different accents.
both classics.
whats better ? Id say RD, even tho Im from the Bay.
however, ITMW did sell more and had influence on RD
jay always gave props to the bay tho. he had couple songs with short dog and like Ray said, rick rock produced the best song on the dynasty (besides the intro)

Don't get me wrong, i've always liked e-40, dude can spit. But "mastery of the english language," i mean come on, maybe "mastery of the e-40 language" he makes up half the **** he says. It's a classic but not as good as reasonable doubt.

I like both albums alot... but i gotta go with Resonable Doubt. Not by much though...very close. E-40 album was more creative, but Jay lyrics were on RD were crazy. Although i still bump In a major way all the time, and i rarely listen to Resonable Doubt.

E 40 - in a major way

respectively
both these cd's are classics and similiar
if u look at it
they're both spitting about the dope game from their side of map in a manner that a average person couldn't comprehend if u wasn't from the streets.
now keep in mind this was 10 years ago and rap was just beginning to become a money making market. so for them to make a successful album with this type of content on it , they both deserve props.
in a major way
was clever,original,and hard
reasonable doubt
was witty,groundbreaking, and raw
thought that east west **** was dead
