American Psycho freaked me the hell out...read it twice.

Aren't you a mildly insane, clothing obsessed kid with well to do parents? parallels?

Yeah, it's scary how much I can relate to Bateman in American Psycho... :guilty:

Both read the book..and watched the movie...classic 80's excess.

When the chick giggles and says "leaky pipes" as her nose bleeds from coke abuse..classic movie moment.

I've read all his books. American Psycho 5 times now. (GOAT). Reading Glamorama for the 3rd time right now. Lunar Park is an amazing book, read it twice and will read it again. The first part is like an autobiography, which is hilarious. Then it moves into sort of a horror story and ends with a family drama. The entire book is almost a metaphor. It's brilliant. It's being made into a film.

Apparently, he's writing a sequel to Less Than Zero right now. Rules of Attraction is enjoyable, and introduces a lot of characters that are in Glamorama.

The Informers is the only book I didn't really like from him. Just a bunch of short stories, some are decent though. (Also being made into a film.)
