Could someone recommend some brands/styles of shoes or tips that may alleviate some of the pressure from the feet during cardio (specifically step aerobics)? Or what shoes are the most comfortable for you?

I love my step classes, but sometimes I have soreness at the bottom of my feet and it effects my workout. I recently bought a pair of nike shox that work okay, but I still experience soreness at times. I don't know if there's something else that I should be trying. I think I could get much more out of my cardio workouts if my feet didn't hurt.

Much appreciated.

Nike Shocks...thats the best I can think of...maybe sketchers? I wear them when I run...very comfy if your running or active for hours at a time.

your best bet would be to buy a Nike cross trainer (no shox) those are the best all around shoe for exercise

Do shocks prevent or further encourage damage to your feet?

I've been using New Balance and Nike Cross Trainers for years with no complaints. I don't give a f*ck what I wear when I lift, but for Cardio the proper footwear is crucial.
