Definitely not. You do not burn fat, although it may claim that. It's BS. You might lose a lot of weight, which will give you the illustion that it is working.
To lose your gut you must lower your body fat percentage.
Via Weight Training and via Cardio Training. There should be plenty of information in my compilation thread. There is a post in there that explains how to get your body into fat burning mode.
total waste of time and money

Pros = You can loose up to about 7lbs a day (depending on activity).
Cons = The dehydration effect can literally kill you.
This is a process some doctors call "Concentrated Dehydration". By increasing the heat in a centralized location of your body...you are forcing that portion of your body to work harder (including all the organs in it). When your body looses too much water...or anything that it is used to in a sudden event....it is prone to seize up because the balance has been disrupted...so you are physically stressing your heart, lungs, liver & kidneys. The suit is ok to wear for short periods only, but it is still recommended to balance your diet, and get a light regular dose of cardio.

its not good for you if you wear it for long periods. i mean its a sauna suit. you're supposed to sweat. JUST LIKE IN A SAUNA. you just can't get dumb with it and keep it on all day or use it as a alternative to actually working out. nothing comes easy. I use the suit IN ADDITION TO DIET AND EXERSISE cause i don't like going to the gym saunas.

cleanse my body of antioxidants
u mean toxins?
Only good if you are under weight demands. I know football players/boxers that wear them to meet weight limits. Fast, but not healthy

saunas can be very beneficial to ones health as well. it does rid your body of many toxins, cleans out pores, and ive heard its good for your cardio-vascular system and can increase metabolism... but again, its not good to sit in one for days straight, and make sure your hydrated. the weight loss you see immediately is water weight, but it may help you slim down in addition to diet/exercise...
its real popular in scandanavia. alot of my relatives have them and swear by them (i like them to clean you out after some serious boozing...)
yo this is the same problem that boxers have
they try to lose weight before a fight by runnin in them suits but its not like theyre losing bodyfat, they only sweat out as much water as possible for short term weight loss

I only use these to cut weight just before weight in for a fight as I always aim to be about 4lbs overweight the day before then cut the 4lbs the morning of the weigh in with the suit by the evening the 4lbs is back because all it is doing is de-hydrating you nothing else so soon as you start drinking liquids bthe weight is back. If you use it for permenant weight loss I think your running a risk of damaging your body.

actually i do a combo of of weight training, cardio, and the sauna suit and i can tell that i have lost the weight.
i think the main thing with those sauna suits is your diet. if you're eating loads of calories and then step in the suit and sweat it off, you may lose the weight but it turns into the flab.
