Metallica??? C'mon man, Black album was their best album There in like top 30 somewhere but not in top 5. I think Gunz and roses were great musicians, they had a lot of good songs. Besides how he used to dance around in his underwear looking like a ***, Axle was a great singer/pianist and Slash was sick on the guitar. just my thoughts...

are the only bands I cant put there, it's too hard to pick the top 5, b/c it would have to be some generic list of old bands, God forbid a band from the 90's or so is thrown in. AC/DC is top 20

There are alot of bands that some people would put in there (The Doors, Who, Floyd, Nirvana, Dylan) that I think are overrated, alot of good songs, but overall no way. The Stones arent top 5 either.

Pink Floyd get the nod for me long before ATDI ever would. Stooges would be Top 10-20 for sure, dont know about 5 though.

Nah. The Beatles may have been more experimental but the Stones are a far superior BAND. Plus the Beatles had weak lyrics, practically always, the Stones were always on point (even if they haven't been very good in the last 20 years).

You really think Dylan's overrated, he's the best song writer ever. Musically he isn't phenomenal, but I think that alone keeps him from the overrated phrase. I agree with Nirvana and the Doors being too high on most lists.

Lol at the Black album being their best album. It was their most citrically acclaimed and highest selling album but it wasn't their best.

You are talking to someone who used to be a huge Metallica fan, I own all of their albums (even the piece of hot turd excuse for their last album). So yes, I know their material very well, and still think they arent worthy of being considered one of the best bands of all time, even in the metal category.
