Im listening to it right now for the first time. It's different from what I expected but not in a bad way. Wings For Marie pt 1 & 2 are fukkin epic. So far Im loving this album which is a good sign since Tool albums usually have to grow on me.

Yeah I was thinkin the same thing, some people Ive talked to say thats the weakest track, fukk that Maynard murders that song.

upon first reaction to this album, I think it is disappointing. As much as you try to convince yourself, it's in the same exact vein as Lateralus, same sound, same tone, same song structures. It's a little more evolved obviously, because it's been five years. But every album before this was a huge progression from the one before it sonically and artistically. They should have taken the next step...

The packaging on this cd is crazy. Thats why tool is the only band that i'll actually buy. I only listened to the first 4 tracks an so far they've been kind of boring.

I heard the whole thing at Borders a few days ago. It is a LOT like Lateralus but as someone said, its got an Undertow feel with some of the songs. I still loved it.
