Yes. Especially balance exercises primarily. Physically, balance is the condition during which the body's center of gravity is maintained within its base of support. Balance is a function of joint stability, which is influenced by the strength and propioceptive (sp?) (body's balance sensors) abilities of the musculoskeletal system. Developing balance and core stability is a prime catalyst into strength, strong core, better overall posture, injury prevention and optimizing performance.
You know those people who always sprain their ankles. It's usually because their body's "balance sensors" are off.
Additionally, strong abs/lower back are esstential.
Wobble boards, which should be found in any gym, are effective.

I agree with Shaolin Temple here. Using correct form in weightlifting can definitely improve body posture. Specially overall body exercises like Deadlift, Squat and Olympic lifts(Snatch, Clean&Jerk, etc). Before I started lifting weights(3 years ago) my posture was not as erect/straight as it is now. And also I really fell in love with deadlifting(I deadlift twice a week). My overall body balance has improved as well.
