ROB GRIMES BIO!!!

'It's a everyday struggle". That quote drives the soul of Skoolcraft
Music recording artist, Rob Grimes. Born in Oceanside, California to a
diehard Marine and a hardworking mother, Rob, was a happy child in a
strict household. At age 5 that all changed. Feeling the effects of a
hard divorce, his mother moved into her own place to fend for herself
and her family. Growing up poor and hungry was no joke and Rob learned
about the grind at a very early age. Feeling helpless and not
understanding why his family was not the way it used to be, Rob,
gradually became a problem for his mother and for the next few years he
was shuffled back and forth between both parents due to his anger issues
and quick temper. Rob began rhyming and experimenting with hip hop
around the age of 12. He kept at his craft and started to feel like it
was real when he started high school. Frequently getting drunk and high
in and after school Rob got caught up in the troubles of being a "bad
kid" and started hanging with the wrong crew. Working numerous odd jobs
and wack corporate gigs to make ends meet for himself and his family,
Rob Grimes, once again turned to the streets. After many run-in's with
the authorities for joyriding, shoplifting and petty drug activity, the
next two years would prove very important in the growth of the emcee we
now know as Rob Grimes.'That cat stays hustling whether its selling
mixtapes, working 9-5's or just getting paper by any means necessary"
says a neighborhood asssociate. After the death of his best friend in a
drug related shootout, Rob, began to realize that this street sh*t
wasn't going to get him nowhere fast. Known for his clever freestyling
and stylish flow, Rob Grimes, has won many freestyle battles and has
earned mad respect from his peers. Often taken for granted because of
his small frame, Rob, is a lyrical giant who is reminiscent to some of
the greatest hip hop legends that ever lived. Rob Grimes is about to
wake this industry up to a different flavor of west coast lyricism and
